This paper explores the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology after the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its impact on media discourse. Interest in AI has increased significantly with the emergence of AlphaGo in 2016 and CHAT-GPT4 in 2023. This study applies Gilbert Simondon's individuation theory to analyze the reproduction and technical description of AI characters in the Korean science fiction films 'Robot, Sori' and 'Jeong-i.' The findings confirm that AI technology, through the fusion of humans and technology, facilitates the creation of new forms of existence called posthumans. Moreover, social and cultural background plays a more significant role in forming the originality of each work than technological progress within each movie.
