Dongdaemun Design Plaza is a landmark of Seoul and a world-class deconstructivist architecture. Unlike modernist architecture, deconstructivist architecture cannot clearly grasp its structure and location according to one central principle. This is why DDP's signature system based on modernism does not function in DDP. In order to improve this, it is necessary to more systematically rearrange the sign system that borrows only the modernist style. That is, information to be guided should be distributed differentially according to the type and characteristics of the guide sign. In addition, the sign at the subway exit in front of Oullim Square should be replaced with an interactive 3D map instead of the current 2D printed perspective and floor plans. Additionally, the exit of each floor should be classified into 12 colors according to 360-degree azimuth, and the movement path should be marked with colored lines, etc. Through this, it is suggested to change the guide strategy so that the general direction can be grasped rather than searching for a specific place.
