The automobile is one of the most influential and widely used inventions in modern science and technology. Cars have changed from horse-drawn carriages to powered cars. Moreover, the shape of the car is also changing with the change of people’s thoughts. The purpose of this thesis research is to study the influence of changes in people’s thinking on the appearance of cars. Through the research of post-war design thinking and automobile styling, the research of modern design thinking and the research of modern automobile design, find out the influence of design thinking on automobiles, and the development direction of automobile appearance styling in the New Normal state.
