However, the actual application in our lives is not very large due to road sign rules. Therefore, this study suggests that the sign sections of roads which are difficult to implement at once can be implemented step by step. We will look at what you can do and where you can make improvements so that you can use it to find the right destination. The present situation of the actual road is examined through an example, We will also present solutions to the problems that arise in our lives and solutions to them through examples from foreign countries. We give small color changes for convenient use, The development of a futuristic city in harmony with urban beauty and without compromising the urban environment. It is expected to be able to provide improvement in design and environment improvement parts that are safe and suitable for distance as a classification of public design that promotes user safety and city development by using GPS link system.   Keyword Road facilities, milestones, safety facilities and signs designed 요약 우리나라는 60~70년대 급격한 경제의 발전을 이룬 상태에서 무분별한 개발이 이루어지다보니, 사회안전망 및 시설물 등에 상대적으로 많이 취약하게 조성되어져 왔다. 이런 부분들은 어느 한 부분에서만 보이는 것이 아니라, 산업체 전반에 걸쳐 많이 드러나고 있는 것이 사실이다. 많은 부분들이 있지만 본 연구에서는 도로표지와 관련되어 안전이 반드시 필요한 시설물에 대해 디자이너의 시선으로 작은 색상부분의 제한적 규제와 디자인만을 변형시켜 규제의 변경과 도로의 현실에 맞는 제안을 하고자 한다. 물론 시중에는 안전성이 포함되어져 있는 제품들에 예쁜 디자인을 가지고 제품화되어 있는 많은 아이디어 제품들이 출시되어 있고, 또 발전하고 있지만 실제 우리 생활에서의 적용은 도로표지판규칙으로 인해 그리 크지 않은 상태이다. 이에 본 연구는 당장은 한꺼번에 시행되어지기 어려운 도로의 표지판 부분을 단계적으로 시행 가능하도록 유도하고, 사용자의 입장과 실제 사용하는 사람들이 정확한 목적지를 찾는데 사용할 수 있도록 개선이 가능한 부분을 알아보고자 한다. 현재 실제 도로의 상황을 사례를 통하여 알아보고, 우리 실생활에서 발생되는 문제점과 그에 대한 해결책도 외국의 사례를 통해 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 우리가 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 작은 색상변화를 주고, 도시미관과 어우러져 도시환경을 저해하지 않은 상태에서 미래지향적 도시의 발전을 위한 GPS연계 시스템을 이용하여 사용자의 안전과 도시발전을 도모하는 공공디자인의 한 분류로서 안전하고 거리에 맞는 디자인과 환경개선 부분들에서 개선점을 제공할 수 있을 것을 기대 해 본다.
