초록 | The road information design system under the street name address system is responsible for the function of Road Signs and Road Name Signs. Road Signs are installed and managed according to the Road Sign Rules under the Road Act, and Road Name Signs are installed separately under the Road Name Adress Information facility Guidelines Rules. Despite the need for the same information design perspective and structure, Road Signs and Road Name Signs are not be consistent and linked to principles and regulations because of differences in the administrators of planning, installation, management and operation, and duplicate guidance at crossings. In particular, Road Sign Rules that do not provide information about information elements such as road name, place name, English road name, address number, and route number are not provided, adding to the results of more specific design configurations depending on the object of road signage. Thus, this study was designed to present the current status of Road Sign Information Design in conjunction with the relevant items of the Road Sign Rule and the Road Name Information Facility Rule, and to present the view and direction of the enactment and rule revision. The relevant regulations were intended to be changed from administrative-centered to user-centered, to integrated and specific information design principles from separate and ambiguous laws and rules, and the need to lead the role of Public Design was also proposed. |
