Design education at the specialized high school design department aims to foster designers. Designers in the practical environment where various and complex problems emerge require design skills such as communication skills, collaboration skills, and problem solving skills. Project based learning, which is a learning process in which students find, investigate, and explore problems related to real life, is closely related to various abilities required of designers. Through literature research and surveys, this study identified the status of CI design education in specialized high schools and explored ways to develop curriculum that are effective in developing designer skills. The study developed a five-step learning process by using project based learning in specialized high school Corporate Identity design education : introduction, problem recognition, solution exploration, solution development and evaluation. To prove its effectiveness, the researcher conducted a survey about satisfaction and educational effects by using likert scale. In conclusion, the average score was 3.9 to 4.3, Learners have shown positive results in improving satisfaction with class and educational effects by taking self-directed learning with interest.   성화고등학교 디자인과에서의 디자인교육은 디자이너 양성을 목표로 한다. 다양하고 복잡한 문제가 대두되는 현장 실무환경에서 디자이너에게는 커뮤니케이션 능력, 협업능력, 문제해결 능력 등의 디자인능력이 요구된다. 프로젝트학습법은 학습자가 실생활과 관련된 문제점을 찾아 조사하고 탐구하는 학습 과정으로 디자이너에게 요구되는 여러 능력과 관련이 크다. 이에 본 연구는 문헌연구와 설문조사를 통해 특성화고등학교의 CI 디자인 교육 현황을 파악하고 디자이너의 능력 개발에 효과적인 수업과정 개발을 모색하였다. CI디자인 교육에 프로젝트 학습법을 활용하여 도입, 문제 인식, 해결 가능성 탐색, 해결안 개발, 평가의 5단계로 구성된 수업과정을 개발하였으며, 효과 검증을 위해 수업단계별 만족도와 수업효과에 5점 척도 설문조사를 활용하였다. 그 결과, 평균 3.9~4.3점으로 학습자가 수업에 흥미를 갖고 자기 주도적으로 학습에 임함으로써 수업과정에 대한 만족도와 수업효과에 긍정적인 결과를 보였다.
