In this situation, in the beauty industry, faceboards have been developed and used for a more convenient and systematic personal color diagnosis system. However, although this method of personal color diagnosis does not seem to have a major problem in general use, it is said that the scope of the growing beauty market, especially nail artists, is too common to be used in a specific part of each individual's hand, and there are many points that are inefficient in form. Can be seen. Therefore, through an overall analysis of color and research on formative characteristics, I would like to propose a new design that can be used more conveniently by nailists and that can meet the needs of customers. 개성발현이 중요해지고 있는 현대사회에 있어서 개인에게 어울리는 컬러를 찾아주는 퍼스널컬러 시스템은 자아의 특성을 표현할 수 있는 하나의 방법으로 자리잡고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 뷰티산업 분야에서는 보다 편리하고 체계적인 퍼스널컬러 진단시스템을 위하여 페이스보드가 개발되어 활용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 퍼스널컬러 진단 방법은 보편적인 사용에는 큰 문제가 없어 보이나 성장하고 있는 미용시장, 특히 네일아티스트들이 각 개인의 손이라는 특정부위에 활용하기에는 그 범위가 너무 보편적이고 형태적으로도 비효율적인 점이 많다는 것을 알 수 있다. 따라서 컬러에 대한 전반적인 분석과 조형적 특성에 대한 연구를 통해 네일리스트들이 더욱 편리하게 사용 할 수 있으면서도 고객의 요구에 부합할 수 있는 새로운 디자인을 제안해 보고자 한다.
